Researcher & Consumer Matching Service

The purpose of this service is to enable HCRA researchers to establish meaningful partnerships with community members who are willing to provide advice and assistance in cancer research from a consumer perspective.

How can the HCRA Consumer Advisory Panel assist you?

Members of the HCRA Consumer Advisory Panel are available to provide input on many aspects of research projects.

Some examples include:

  • Providing feedback on marketing materials, information sheets, questionnaires
  • Assisting with the preparation of research lay summaries & presentations
  • Providing feedback on study design, concept development & project priorities from a community perspective
  • Promotion of research projects to funders, potential funders, cancer support groups and the general public

If you would like to be matched with a volunteer on the Consumer Advisory Panel please complete the online Researcher Request Form.

Please be aware that while we will make every effort to fulfil your request, this process might take some time. Please be considerate of this when planning the timeframe of your request.
